Membership of the Surveyors Registration Board of Victoria

 

Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified individuals for the three positions of:

  • Lawyer member
  • Community member
  • Property owner and developer member

on the Surveyors Registration Board of Victoria. 
 
Appointments are expected to commence on 1 November 2016.
 
The Board is established under the Surveying Act 2004 to regulate land surveying to ensure the
integrity of Victoria’s land and property system is maintained. 

 
This is a unique opportunity to become actively involved in the Board’s operations and participate on various Board committees that adjudicate on governance, training and disciplinary matters.
 
Specific interest and skills in one or more of the following areas would be highly regarded:

  • administrative law
  • property and land development
  • community interests and needs
  • legal issues relating to surveying and land development
  • education and training
  • business management
  • director responsibilities and governance.
